titanium balls

Light weight, low density, nonmagnetic, high strength, corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. titanium balls have many industrial applications including aerospace, medical and precision instruments.

Titanium is a member of the titanium group and has five naturally occurring isotopes. It has an unusual hexagonal close-pack atomic structure, which is unlike the face-centered or body-centered cubic of most metallic elements.

The metal’s excellent physical and chemical properties have made it one of the most important and widely used metals in the world. It is also biocompatible and resistant to oxidation, making it an ideal material for medical implants.

Balls can be produced from several types of titanium alloys. The most common is the TiAl6V4 alloy which has a high level of corrosion resistance and excellent thermal conductivity.

Other types of titanium include waspaloy and aluminized titanium. These are used for extreme temperatures and have good tensile and compression strengths.

Tungsten is an extremely hard, tough and nonmagnetic metal. It is often used as an alternative to lead in some applications.

Brass is a naturally occurring copper based metal. It has a silvery white color and is highly ductile. It is corrosive resistant to tap water but does not stand up well in sea water.

Aluminum is another naturally occurring, ductile metal. It is often used as a closure to prevent the opening of a hole.

It is very machinable and can be ground to a very high quality. It is also very rust and corrosion resistant.
