tantalum oxide is a white, crystalline powder with good chemical and thermal properties. It is used as a source of metallic tantalum and is also suitable for glass, optics and ceramic applications.
Application: HM provides high-quality tantalum oxide (Ta2O5) powder at competitive prices. It can be used for scientific research or industrial production.
Description: Ta2O5 is amphoteric oxide with an insoluble content and slightly soluble in hydrofluoric acid. It has good chemical stability and is also stable in ceramic structures. It can be used as a raw material for producing metallic tantalum and is suitable for pulling lithium tantalate single crystals.
Ta2O5 can be prepared by solvothermal reactions of tantalum pentoxide or by gelation. These precursors are expensive and are not easily accessible.
Typical polymorphs: L-Ta2O5 and H-Ta2O5
The most common polymorphs of L-Ta2O5 are orthorhombic b-Ta2O5 and hexagonal d-Ta2O5. Other morphologies include nanowires and nanoflowers.

Perovskite solar cell fabrication: Laser annealing of Ta2O5 film: Conclusion
To investigate the influence of laser annealing on the perovskite-structured tantalum oxide films, we fabricated a step-by-step perovskite solar cell. The fabricated device showed good performance with the electric field strength of 103 V cm-1 and the current density of 10-8 A cm-2.
